European politics explained

The parliamentary elections of the European Union create the opportunity for billions of citizens all over Europe to participate in future politics. Additionally to the parliament, the European Union consist of several other institutions with different functions which provides the separation of powers. However the many different institutions, officials and connections between them, can quickly become confusing and overwhelming.

To solve this problem my Bachelor-Thesis creates an overview of the most important institutions of the EU and shows how they are linked with each other. Each institution in this book is depicted on two pages, showing their structure, duties and participating officials in an infographic and giving further information through short texts. Additionally the book shows the typical processes of budget planning and legislation.

All of these informations and graphics are also included for the German political system and in a summarized form for Spain, France and Italy.
